First Taste of Sunday School
Children ages 2 through 1st grade are introduced to basic Bible stories through teacher lessons, games, crafts, and songs. They also learn about friendships and each child prays in our weekly prayer circle. Class meets from 9:30 to 10:30.
2nd - 4th Grade Sunday School
Come and check out our 2nd - 4th grade Sunday School class! Our children are learning skills in looking up scripture independently while applying what they learned at home and school throughout the week. This includes practicing a memory verse each week as well. Emphasis is placed on a relationship with God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, and learning how to pray. Please join us from 9:30 to 10:30!
Middle School Sunday School
In this class 5th-8th graders begin to take a deeper, more detailed look into Bible stories learned as children in both the New and Old Testaments. It is taught chronologically - each session beginning with a review of the previous lesson to tie into the current one. The goal is to deepen the student’s understanding of biblical history and principles as well as to discuss practical applications of those principles.
Christian Living Center
We meet from 9:30 to 10:30 every Sunday to encourage, pray, and study God’s Word. We utilize DVD lessons from some of the best resources available today as well as study the Bible verse by verse. Please join us as we encourage each other to live what we learn as we grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Comstock's Junior Church is an opportunity for children to engage in their own church time with creative and exciting Bible lessons. This program is geared for children 4-10 years old. We meet during the church sermon message time on Sunday.
We operate under a Faith Promise program with all missions giving designated by our members. We support five missions in the US, two others in Mexico and Jamaica, and a contingency/benevolence fund for meeting pressing needs. We have built two houses in Mexico with Casas por Cristo over the last two summers. We’ve given over $50,000 each year for the last six years to missions.
We work hard to support our local community in practical ways. We’ve volunteered as mentors the local elementary school, cleaned and painted the local high school athletic fields and parks, removed trash for local roads, and volunteered at community events. We are committed to serving our community with the love of Christ.
